Quractiv Derm
Quractiv Derm spray is an all-in-one healer for the treatment of chronic wounds. A single spritz serves as a wound dressing, antibiotic, coagulant, and growth-stimulator. For the millions of patients living with chronic wounds caused by diseases like diabetes, Quractiv Derm offers an effective solution to a painful affliction.
Targeting patients accustomed to a long and complicated wound care regimens, Quractiv Derm’s simple mode of action needed to be reflected immediately on the shelf. In order to stand out from the typical pharmaceutical clutter, we designed a minimalist identity and packaging system. The Q logo signifies Quractiv Derm’s complete approach to wound care and its effectiveness in all three phases of wound healing.

Spot varnish on the outside of the box indicates the contents inside, while also referencing the tactile qualities of smooth, healthy skin. The packaging system is adaptable for any future product launches.
Chitosan, the primary chemical compound in Quractiv Derm, is derived from a natural compound which is responsible for strengthening lightweight insect wings and flexible crustacean shells.
In 2013, Quractiv Derm appeared at a medical fair in Bremen, Germany. The fair booth was developed in cooperation with Munich design team Vogelbaur.
As a promotion for an upcoming event, we designed these mailings with custom origami paper and instructions on how to fold a dragonfly, the unofficial mascot of Quractiv Derm.
